This page is maintained by the developer of TextSwitcher to explain what happens to data when you use the TextSwitcher macOS app and this website.

The app: everything stays on your Mac

TextSwitcher watches your keystrokes locally in order to detect words typed with the wrong keyboard layout and to correct them. This processing happens on your device. The app does not send your typed text to us, does not store it on external servers, and does not use it to train AI models. No account is required to use the app.

The website

• Hosting. The site is hosted on Lovable’s infrastructure. Like any web host, it processes technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
• Downloads. The app installer is served as a static file. We do not attach identifiers to your download.
• Donations. If you choose to “buy me a coffee”, the payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly in Stripe’s checkout and are never handled by this site. We only see the information Stripe reports about a completed payment (such as amount and payment status). See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Advertising. The site can display ads from third-party ad networks. Ad scripts only load after you accept advertising cookies in the cookie notice. If you reject them, no ad scripts and no advertising cookies are loaded.

Cookies

We store your cookie choice locally in your browser so we do not have to ask again. Details of every category are described in the Cookie Policy.

Your choices

• You can accept or reject advertising cookies at any time from the footer.
• You can clear site data in your browser to remove your stored choice.
• You can ask us about the data related to a donation, or request its deletion where the law allows, by contacting us.

Children

TextSwitcher is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page changes with it.
